Habit is something that people do again and again. Since they will do it regularly, there is only a choice. That is doing only the good habit. At home, you have to do only the good habit. Once you do the bad one, your children will automatically think it as the good one. Children are taught to respect others especially their parents. So, they will imitate what you do. To avoid something bad happens, you need to rethink about your children home education so far. Then, try to replace the bad ones with the good and educative ones. For example, you may ask your children to wash their hands before eating and brush the teeth after eating. Your children have to see while you are doing them. This prevents your children to see you as bossy person.

Another simple good habit is always saying thank you, excuse me, and please in many occasion. Guide them to know the time they have to say those words. If it is necessary, you may ask them to visit their uncle or grandparents just to prove that they understand and are able to use those words. In addition, you have to educate your children to follow the home rules. For instance, they have to put the dirty clothes on the right place instead of putting them on the floor. Or they have to always flush and clean the toilet after using. If they cannot do these at once, you should be patient and tell them the reasons why they have to do that. Besides, you may ask them to learn the way to set the tables, have good study habits, be punctual, never give up easily, and others.
